As the dust starts to settle two weeks after the UK’s referendum vote to leave the EU, there is still perhaps only one thing that can be said with any degree of certainty - that it has been a monumental fortnight in UK politics. After the shockwave of the referendum result, by and large the nation is trying to adjust and return to normal, whatever that may turn out to be. But attempts to restore calm have not been helped by media speculation, widespread outrage on social media and upheaval in both the Labour and Conservative parties, including the resignation of David Cameron as prime minister.

Homebuyers’ wish lists have changed in the last decade along with technological advances and lifestyle changes. Warmth and energy efficiency are key priorities for buyers with central heating and double-glazing filling the top slots in the top 20 “must have” features. Healthy, sustainable green living isn't a new idea, but it is increasingly becoming a top priority for homebuyers.
Frosts support £3000 fundraiser

Frosts were proud to support Alexander Jansons Foundation’s fundraising tennis tournament in Farnham Common held on 3rd June which raised £3720 towards vital research into myocarditis. Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle which, depending on the cause and severity, can range from no symptoms at all, to heart failure and even death in some cases.

Chesham celebrates – our one year anniversary

“Frosty” the Panda was out and about again with Frost balloons and prizes at Chesham Town Carnival on Saturday in Lowndes Park. Following the one year anniversary of our Chesham office opening, Sales Manager Jacqui Cuthbert was asked to judge the local schools float competition with the help of Frosty (Lewis Unwin) and colleague Lorraine Mays. The Carnival provided a great day of family fun and as always it was great to be part of the festivities.
EU Referendum - A split vote amongst estate agents

A recent survey amongst a network of estate agents across England, Scotland and Wales, suggests there is a divide between agents experiencing an impact from the upcoming referendum, and those that are not. The survey – conducted by Relocation Agent Network – found that 53% of respondents indicated that in their opinion, the market trends they are experiencing may be attributed to the upcoming EU referendum.
