The future of property marketing
Thursday, July 3, 2014
We are pleased to report that the levels of sales transactions throughout our branches across the network have reached peak levels this year, with some branches reporting that in May 85% of the agreed sales were at asking price or above.
Geoff Collins, Director of Sales for the Chiltern group of offices believes that you can’t simply rely on a buoyant market place to attract the best buyers or to achieve the agreed sales price. He says, “To achieve the optimum value for your home there is still the need for intelligent marketing to attract the greatest number of potential buyers to the table with the backing and expertise of highly experienced sales negotiators to ensure a smooth and progressive sales process. This year, the property prices in the UK have risen significantly – which ironically makes it more challenging to find the right buyer.
“Our success in achieving and exceeding the asking prices is evidence that we are correctly marketing properties on a local, national and global level. To reach the best price for a property, we look to maximise the number of enquiries. To do this we have the support of our local 13 branch network structure links to 32 London offices, our exclusive networking alliance with Relocation Agent Network on a national level and our frostweb website and further extensive advertising on the largest property portals such as Rightmove, Zoopla and Primelocation on an international level.
“We are now one of the first estate agents in the UK to be exploring and harnessing the power of social media via our interactive frostweb.TV site which was launched in May this year. We are currently creating individual property microsites for clients’ properties which can be ‘shared’ with friends and family on social media networks such as Facebook. This automatically exposes a property to hundreds, if not thousands of more potential buyers – and clients will be able to measure the viewings results online for themselves. Professionally voiced over video tours, links to local school Ofsted reports, video area links are all part of the package – bringing your property to life and making it more accessible though social networking. This really is the future of property marketing and we are really excited about its endless opportunities.
“The family Frost name has been a significant player in the local property market for over 108 years. Yet, we are one of the most progressive independent estate agents who offer the full spectrum of property services including RICS Chartered Surveying services, award winning residential lettings and exceptional new homes services. In terms of intelligent marketing, we are at the cusp of a new era. For achieving the best sales price, please come and speak to us directly. We are confident we can help.”
