Increase your chances of a corporate let.

On the up side, corporate tenants are less likely to damage your property or fail to pay the rent. Typically they are high earners, out at work for much of the day, so wear and tear is minimal and they tend to treat properties with respect. That’s the theory, anyway, and the reason why company employees from reliable blue-chip companies and local authorities, for example, are seen by many landlords as the ideal tenant for buy-to-let properties.

However, corporate lets are by no means “easy money”. Companies are often prepared to pay high rents but in return their expectations are high. Properties need to be up to scratch for this demanding market with quality furnishings, new kitchen and bathroom fittings and appliances. Location is key, in close proximity to a tube or train station, shops and restaurants. Security also needs to be good with safe, well lit routes to local transport links. Broadband connectivity is a must for corporate tenants so they can link to their company network and stay in touch with home.

So how do you become a company landlord? If all this is for you, The Frost Partnership has long standing relationships with relocation agents and large corporates across its network area. Chris Cotton, Manager of Lettings for The Frost Partnership, Middlesex says, “A reputation for reliability and professional service often makes Frosts the number one choice of agent for corporate lets. Demand is growing and we are now seeking more properties for professional tenants.”

Corporate tenants expect a property to be fully managed with rapid response to any problems that arise and a high level of service. As a licensed member of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents), The Frost Partnership will manage your property, maintaining professional service excellence across everything from detailed inventory to routine inspections and a 24 hour emergency tenant help line.
